Day 610...Year 2

What I have learned in the past six months...

I am not the same person I was then... I am more secure and confident in my job... I am me and no one can change who I am except me...  When things go crazy with those around me, I need to keep calm and remember that it's not about me...

I am ready for my next story to begin...

Day 640...Year 2

I did pretty good today and feel even better tonight... Weird and a little bit creepy thing happened after work tonight... I was driving to meet up with friends for trivia night and happy hour and bee bopping along to the music on the radio when a Taxi Van pulled up along side of me in traffic... I noticed the guy was looking at me almost like he was trying to get my attention, but I just kept singing along to the music... The traffic started moving again and he pulled in behind me... At the next stop light I noticed he had put his car in park and had jumped out of his van walking towards me... I lowered the window slightly and he pushed his business card at me and said, "call me," and then went back to his van... At this point I was freaked out and he stopped following me, thankfully or I would have had to keep driving...Maybe he thought I was cute or maybe he thought I could use a cab at some point, but this was just weird...There wasn't anything on his card except ...

Day 222 of 365

With only 93 days remaining until my first 5K, I have officially begun my training. I want to thank my benefactor once again, for believing in me, my Mom for verbally motivating me and my BFF for encouraging me to get off my ever widening rear end tonight to get walking. We went over to Celebration to walk the trails and made it a mile before we were called on account of rain, but mostly lightning. I'm afraid of lightning. Then unbeknownst to my BFF, I went to the gym and walked an additional 24 minutes on the treadmill, sorry BFF please don't be upset with me; and I have decided that I do not enjoy walking on the treadmill and prefer to sweat my butt off walking in the heat, or freezing it off in the cold. So my plan for tomorrow morning is to get up and walk again, and the next day and the next day and the next day; until I can average a 16 minute mile or less. I am not a runner but who knows, maybe I will work my way up to it. Love, peace and walking your buns off......

Day 591...Year 2

Sometimes the thing you thought you wanted more than anything, doesn't always seem as desirable in the end when it could happen... I think over the course of time, your desires change and you realize maybe that thing that others desired for you isn't really what you wanted at all... The thing you wanted was to spread your wings and have new experiences and try things on your own... Kind of like when you are a kid and everyone sits watching you all of the time when you are practicing... Which in turn can make you nervous and self conscious.... But then when people aren't viewing you under the proverbial microscope you begin to gain confidence and self-assurance and you find you can do it on your own... There are a lot of people in life that want to be the "reason" for your success, but the fact is that they didn't do it... You did it... It's great if they want to encourage you but the only person that should take credit for your success is you... I ju...
