The 5oz Foodie

Alright, first and foremost, an update on my interview... It went really well... I met with two different training managers, one for water parks and the other for one of the value resorts... They asked me about myself and then asked me 10 questions... I was told that the interview would count for the next 30 days, meaning, if I don't get the TA at water parks I could get one at the resort... The way I look at it is even if I don't get it at either, I feel like I had a pretty decent interview... I am going to send a thank you email to both tomorrow and ask if there is any feedback they can give me for future interviews... So, NO, I haven't heard anything back yet... ;) The rest of my day was a celebration of my friend "Belle's" birthday... We met up at the Studios to see "Beauty and the Beast" and ride Great Movie Ride and then traveled to MK to finish off the day at Beast's Castle for dinner... Even though it got chilly out, a great time was ha...

Long ago in a town far far away, a most wonderful event occurred... a young man and woman, after years of trying welcomed a sweet baby girl into the world.... ME! That's right, it is my birthday today and it was quite magical! I began the day finding a lovely letter written to me by my Mom telling just how much she loves me and how proud she is of me. I also was greeted at work by many wishes of a happy day and a few boisterous serenades of Happy Birthday to you!!! Alas, I also had to wish a See You Real Soon to one of my favorite Norwegian trainers and received a lovely gift for myself and my mentor to hang in our office. It made me proud to be a Disney Trainer. To top off my evening I was able to have dinner with my Mom and my BFF at the Grand Floridian Cafe. It was delicious and I enjoyed trying the new restaurant very much. I had a burger with Lobster on it... and had my favorite dessert of all time as my "birthday cake", Boston Creme Pie... Love, peace...

Today is the birthday of a very important person in my life. She knew I was alive before anyone and felt me grow in her tummy. Mom, Happy Birthday... You have always taken care of me since I was very small and even now. I am so blessed that you are here in Florida with me. I don't know what I would do without you here. SO always remember... I have to say a Big Giant Happy Birthday to my bff! I had the pleasure of getting to make for him a special birthday dinner consisting of Spaghetti, salad and garlic cheese bread, topped off with a home made chocolate cake with chocolate icing! We watched Captain America the First Avenger also. It was a nice relaxing evening with a fantastic friend. The only thing that would have made it better is if my back weren't killing me. It has been hurting since I woke up this morning and ironically enough I had to facilitate the safety classes at work today and teach cast members on how to NOT injure themselves. Lol! Thankfully both my classes weren't horrible, in fact in both classes I had cast members that enjoyed the class and learned some new things. But on the flip side I had a cast member in class this afternoon that is normally a 5th grade teacher and I wonder if his own class understands what he is teaching because when he answered one of my questions about leverage I aske...
