Day 414...Year 2

It's so funny, because I post my blog on different places on line, like Facebook and SparkPeople and one of my dreams when I started writing short cheesy romances about NKOTB back in High School, was that I would write a story that people everywhere would want to read... I never could have imagined that the story they would want to read is mine... Thanks to blogging I have been able to share my crazy life with others... I know some feel like it's too much, but for me it is therapy... For me it is a chance to share my struggles and fears in hopes of finding answers to why I am the way that I am.... It's also my chance to reach out to others that may be having struggles of their own... Some days I feel like I write nonsense or too little, but then I get messages from my global friends that encourage me to keep writing, even when I think I didn't really have anything important to share that day... It just shows me that maybe what I wrote wasn't meant for me to learn ...

Day 385...Year 2

I received an instant message last night from a friend... He was a trainee last summer and we were instant pals... He was back in town and was going to be working tonight at my park and asked if I would be around... I told him I would be and when I was off work I went to the location and waited for him to come in... I haven't been in this particular location in a few weeks so when I walked into the cast area everyone I came in contact with was so sweet and so nice, making me feel like a family member that was home after being away on a trip... Well, just before he was about to be late for his shift he came walking in cool as a cucumber and clocked in, but not before getting a huge smile on his face and giving me a big hug... We were only able to chat for a few minutes but it was so nice to see him again... So very often, in my line of work, we meet people and we think we have created these amazing bonds, but once they leave you just end up with a lot of FB friends, but not "...

This is the first year I remember really making an effort to watch the Summer Olympics, as I may have mentioned before. Most years I would purposefully avoid watching NBC but I have watched quite a few events.  This year has been extremely exciting, watching Phelps and Lochte compete, the US Women's Gymnastic Team top the podium, along with seeing the amazing performances of the others that have gotten Team USA to 37 medals, 18 gold, so far in these games. GO USA GO!!! Alright, so many people have been questioning why I am removing myself from Facebook. First of all it is not a publicity stunt. Since I am not famous and I don't really make any money off this blog, that theory is just crazy and weird. To be perfectly honest, I spend entirely too much time worrying about other people's lives and should I "like" that person's post but not that one and how much sharing is too much sharing and am I sending too many game requests? I already have a hard enough ti...
