Day 352 of 365

While I was working today I noticed a tattoo on a guest's wrist that read Believe... I told her how much I liked it and she told me that she almost died this year... Of course I was a little shocked by her admission but she added, she got that tattoo as a reminder to never stop believing... She didn't say what she believed in but I am believing that she meant in the saving grace of God... I believe she meant she was given another chance to live... That God had a greater purpose for her...
It reminded me that even in the hardest times we should never give up Believing in God... He is there even when it seems like all is lost... Our nation just went through another tragedy this past week when we lost the lives of 20 young children and six of their teachers... It is hard to watch the footage and not get angry at the media for what they are doing... One family in particular touched my heart greatly and that was the family of Emilie Parker... Her Aunt and then Father spoke with such love for their little girl and then the Father shocked everyone, I am sure, when he said that they were praying for the family of the young man that took the lives of these precious ones... He unashamedly spoke of his daughter's faith in a loving God and from that moment I knew what he Believes as well...

Two weeks ago I found this Tattoo photo on Pinterest and pinned it to my list of wants for Christmas...

This evening I was on FB and found this sweet story on a friend's page...

Twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38 when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate. Their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air. They could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there. They were filled with such joy; they didn't know what to say. They remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day. “where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mous
e. “This is heaven" declared a small boy. "We’re spending Christmas at God's house”. When what to their wondering eyes did appear, but Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near. He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same. Then He opened His arms and He called them by name. And in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring those children all flew into the arms of their King and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace, one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face. And as if He could read all the questions she had He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad. “then He looked down on earth, the world far below He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe, then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand, “Let My power and presence re-enter this land! “May this country be delivered from the hands of fools” “I’m taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools! “Then He and the children stood up without a sound. “Come now my children let me show you around. “Excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran. All displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can. And I heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight, “in the midst of this darkness,” I AM STILL THE LIGHT."

Love, peace and Believe...
