Day 176 of 365

Blast you Debby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the reason my head is aching and I am chilled to the bone. If you live in Florida or any state along the Gulf you know who Debby is, for those of you that don't have the NHC (National Hurricane Center) as a bookmark on your computer Debby is the trouble making Tropical Storm cruising through the Gulf and is causing tons of rain to fall and my head to hurt. :-(

Other than that it has been a great day. I was able to reunite with members of my team that I haven't seen in weeks. It was so fun to get to spend the day with them dodging rain drops, we weren't very successful with that, and getting to see many of our friends in the countries and in the future.

Even though today was rainy and nasty we managed to get some work done and have some great interactions along the way. This could have been a day where the three of us just gave up and said. let's go home, instead we hung in there and ended up having a good time. Sometimes when we wish things away we miss out on the good times we are craving.

Lesson for today, get down on a childs level sometime and really learn to play. I met my 2md cousin this evening. She is smart, outgoing, entertaining and she is only 3.5 years old. She reminded me how,to have fun tonight and she reminded me what unconditional love looks like. Not only was I invited to tea but.she asked me to read a story with her on the floor. She only knew my bff and I for a few hours yet she gave us both hugs goodbye. Day 587...Year 2

As I sit and ponder what I have done over the last almost 6 years at Disney, the one thing that stands out more than anything is how blessed I have been to work with the people I have worked with... My COT mentors, My Core Team, My Training Managers, My Typhoon Team...  I miss my Core Team very much but it makes me feel so good to know that we each support each other in all of our pursuits... I love when I am working at my desk and my IM alerts me and it's one of the Cores... Now I won't be getting those alerts from the Principal... It was a great time celebrating his new Teaching job last night but something I wish we had done was go around the table and share our favorite Principal story... So, I will share a few of mine...
